Mini me pirates and mermaids

When doing our 'under the sea theme' we created little pirates and mermaids with the students faces on them.
We talked lots about pirates and mermaids and even went on a pirate treasure hunt (photos of these to come) so we decided to create some. All of the boys wanted to be pirates and all but one girl wanted to be mermaids!

Create this cute pirate using this printable person template. We used lots of different coloured shiny paper to decorate the pirate and added a photo of each child's face. They loved being little mini pirates! |

Create an adorable mermaid with this printable template. We printed it out onto A4 card and decorated the tail with tissue paper and sequins. We added a photo of their face to the mermaid and wool for hair. They thought they were very cute mermaids! We added the pirates and mermaids to our 'under the sea' bulletin board! |
