Create this cute little magnet with your students so they can display their work on the fridge at home. 

The poem reads: This little person is just like me It'll display my work for all to see. So when I bring home a work of art, Put it up and warm your heart.

Materials:

• person template - download here or use the DIY pre-cut people

• craft supplies - wool, scrapbook paper, googly eyes, markers

• poem template - download here

• 1 peg per person

• magnetic strip

• hot glue

Instructions:

1. Have students decorate their person template using the craft supplies. We used scrapbook paper scraps for the clothes, wool for hair, googly eyes and fine tipped markers for the details.
2. Hot glue a strong magnet to one side of the peg.
3. Once all of the decorations have dried use hot glue to attach the body to the other side of the peg.
4. Clip the poem in the peg.

 Remember keep calm and pretend it's on the lesson plan!
