Mini Explorers/Paleontologists

Use these templates to turn your students in mini explorers/paleontologists! At the beginning of our dinosaur theme we turned ourselves into paleontologists ready to learn lots of dinosaur facts!

There are three different body templates (thinking, running, jumping) and a hat template.

Students can paint and deocrate the template and then place a photo of their face onto the template! My students loved these and thought they looked very cute. 

We talked about what we thought each different template was doing - eg running away from a newly found dinosaur, jumping up and down because they had found some dinosaur bones and or thinking about what dinosaur might have left some footprints etc.

During this unit of study we also talked about what Paleontologists do and wrote about it to go with our mini explorers.
