Fine Motor Program - Term 1

Here is a ready to use fine motor program for your classroom. Included is everything you will need including task cards, assessment checklists, parent information and planning documents.

This program is designed for use in my Kindergarten class, however you can modify it to suit the needs of your students using the task cards founds here. I plan on running the fine motor program twice a week, and the first term will run for 7 weeks. I will update to include Term 2's plan shortly before the beginning of next term.

How does it work? Twice a week parents will accompany their child to school in the morning and assist them to complete their assigned task. Throughout the term records will be kept on each child's fine motor development, this information will then be used to inform grouping and task focus for the following term (initially the groups have been randomly created). Each of the assessment documents can be edited to include the names of your students!

We have also added an editable version of the documents, however these documents do not include graphics due to copyright.
