Practise doubles with this dinosaur doubles game!
Students play this game in pairs and share a game board. Each player has their own colour counters (we like to use dinosaur counters to match the theme!)
Take turns to roll the dice and double the number. They figure out the answer and placeone of their counters onto a box that has that number in it.
The aim of this game is to get 4 of your counters in a row either up, down or diagonal. It involves trying to make your own row of 4 and trying to stop your partner making a row of 4 at the same time. My students love the strategy in this game and trying to block their partners moves so they can win!
