Description

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend a lesson on 2D shapes, then the 2D Shape Robot is the craft for you.

Using squares, circles, rectangles and triangles of various sizes, students will use their imaginations to create 2D Shape Robots. The design possibilities are infinite!

The shapes can either be printed in colour, in black and white onto coloured paper or in black and white for students to colour themselves.

Once the robot is complete, students can complete a recording slip about the shapes they have used. We have included multiple options to cater for a range of abilities.

Top Teacher Tips:

  1. In addition to printing the assorted 2D shapes page on A4 paper, also enlarge it to A3! This will provide a range of different sized shapes for your students to use.
  2. If preparation time allows, slicing the sets of shapes into strips will make cutting easier for your students.
