This set of cards is for students to investigate sorting 2D shapes different ways. You could ask students to sort the shapes according to their number of sides? They could be sorted according to the number of corners? Whether they have straight or curvy lines? They could be sorted by colour? Students could also sort the cards however they would like and then share their own reasoning. |
