Enable your students to draw shapes from the prehistoric Dino era through this task card activity.

This activity contains 27 task cards with pictures of different objects and three blank fossils. To start the activity, the students will identify the object and using a whiteboard marker, draw its correct shape on the fossil.

To make this activity more engaging, you may have your students pretend to be mini archaeologists out to identify and draw the shape of a mysterious object.

The twelve 2D shapes included in this task card include circle, rectangle, square, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezoid, rhombus, star, heart, and oval.
