Elevate your students’ ability to sort right and wrong pairs of shapes through this task card activity.

This activity contains 2 task cards and 58 mini-pairing cards. There will be two main cards – the “Correct Pair” card and the “Wrong Pair” card. The objective of the activity is for students to choose a card and identify the two pictures. On the right is a shape and on its left is an object. If the pictures match together, students are tasked to put them on the “Correct Pair” card. Otherwise, they will put them on the “Wrong Pair” card.

The twelve 2D shapes included in this task card include circle, rectangle, square, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezoid, rhombus, star, heart, and oval.
