Challenge your students to sort shapes and objects through this task card activity.

This activity contains 12 treasure chests with pictures of the different shapes. Reward tickets are also included. To start the activity, the students will identify the object on the mini picture. They will then sort and place them on the correct chest with its matching shape. This game may be played individually or by a group.

To motivate your students, you may give them a reward ticket if they correctly sorted the pictures into the right chest. Allow your student to pick the ticket of their choice. A “Mystery Pass” option is also included for you to decide on their reward.

The twelve 2D shapes included in this task card include circle, rectangle, square, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezoid, rhombus, star, heart, and oval.
