Use this resource as a whole class display to support your little weather reporters build their weather journaling skills. Students will be asked to observe the weather and choose the appropriate labels and pictures to represent. We recommend you continue to do this for over a week and then discuss how the weather can change from day to day.

It has been designed as a whole class version of our individual weather journal page.

A variety of templates have been offered to suit weeks starting on Sundays and Mondays, as well as versions for the whole week – or just the school week.

You might like to have your students create their own version of the symbols used to represent the weather.
