Created to coincide with Year 5 Geography V9 Australian Curriculum, this activity will provide students with the opportunity to research the hazard reduction land management practice of controlled burning.

Students can explore books, video clips, news articles and websites to locate important information about the practice of controlled burns. Students are guided through their research by the headings: who, what, when, where and why.
