This resource allows students to practise recognising and naming upper and lower case letters in an engaging matching game. Students will practise recognising and naming letters by matching each upper-case letter card with a lower-case one.

This puzzle can be used as a whole class, small group, or independent activity. It can even be used as an assessment tool.

We’ve provided sorting mats in full colour and low colour options, and cards for each upper- and lower-case letter in both colour and black & white. Use the sorting mat to streamline the activity, create matches, or use the letter cards standalone for other games such as Memory, Go Fish, Snap and more!
