This resource is a great way to integrate digital technology into early literacy. To use it students will move around the room with a digital device and a recording sheet, locating the QR Pirate Kids. When each kid is found, students scan the code using a QR reader (either inbuilt or app) and identify the initial letter/sound of the image shown. The answer is recorded by tracing the corresponding letter on the recording sheet before moving onto the next code.
