Commemorate ANZAC Dy with these engaging colouring worksheets.
How to Complete:
- Begin with a class discussion about the significance of ANZAC Day. Talk about how we remember and honour the soldiers who served and sacrificed for our country.
- Distribute the ANZAC Day colouring worksheets and encourage students to think about the people and symbols they see.
- Allow students time to colour mindfully, either individually or as part of a quiet class activity. You might like to play soft music or share a story such as ANZAC Ted by Belinda Landsberry or My Grandad Marches on ANZAC Day by Catriona Hoy to deepen understanding.
- Once complete, display the artworks in the classroom or along a hallway to create a meaningful ANZAC Day tribute. Alternatively, students can take their colouring home to share with their families.
