A hands-on research activity for your students to practise identifying and locating iconic natural Australian landmarks. Students will cut, paste and label images of landmarks to match their location, then research interesting facts about each.
This is a two-part activity that can be used as one lesson or separated into two activities. Students can complete their research digitally or physically using textbooks, atlases or tourist guides.
We recommend completing the cut-and-paste activity individually, but the research component can be completed independently, in pairs or in small groups!
We do not recommend printing this activity double-sided as the cut-and-paste activity will cut off the research page.
