Your students can have fun exploring the author’s purpose with this PIE’ED face game.
The players move around the board, providing examples of the author’s purposes and identifying the purpose of different texts. As the players progress, they earn PIE’ED Face cards. At the end of the game, the players splat their PIE’ED Face cards onto the clown pictures. The clown with the fewest PIE’ED face cards on their picture is the winner.
The game includes full instructions that detail how to print and prepare the resource. An optional recording sheet is also included.
