Imagine if you saw a butterfly with scratchy grassy wings? A worm that looked rough like sandpaper? Or a snail whose shell was shiny and the colour of the rainbow? How would you describe them?
This resource encourages students to move around the classroom or playground with images that have parts removed and experiment with placing them down and describing the new features of their creatures. This can either be done with this printable version for which you cut out certain components of an image, OR, take photos of environmental items and import into a digital version where the chosen components are already made transparent.
