Big Day Out Itinerary
Description
Engage students in interpreting and using timetables and itineraries with this fun Big Day Out Itinerary worksheet.
Students will read bus timetables to complete the itinerary for the excursion and determine the duration of events.
Three varieties of this activity will allow you to choose the one that best suits your students’ abilities. A support version of the activity asks students to identify the end time of each event in the given itinerary, while an extension version allows students to engage their critical thinking skills by creating their own itinerary for the excursion.
Take this activity further by asking students to convert the 24-hour to 12-hour time.
You might like to enlarge your print to A3 size to cater to support students or allow pairs and small groups to complete the task together.
