Bindi & the Garrall Timeline Activity
Description
Your students can investigate the relationship between Bindi and the Garrall (black cockatoo) in Bindi by Kirli Saunders with this thought-provoking resource.
The task involves creating a timeline of events from the moment that they met to when the garrall was released. The characters bonded over some shared experiences and strong emotions. Your students will cut out feathers to create a display of their timeline that features symbolic colours. This will make an educational and beautiful classroom display.
As the resource requires the students to cut out the feathers and write on the reverse, it is advised to print it single sided. A handy example timeline is provided.
This resource is part of our Bindi PACKAGE.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present.
