A simple yet effective classroom routine activity sees your students completing a multiplication grid for facts up to 12 × 12.
Students will use multiple strategies to fill in the grid, using known facts to establish multiplication facts for those that are less known.
Learning multiplication facts may be a daunting experience for students, but when displayed this way, students may realise that there are only a handful of tables they have left to memorise.
A version that begins at 5 × 5 and finishes at 16 × 16 is included in all colour variations to give students an extra challenge in applying their knowledge of multiplication facts and utilising the emerging patterns.
This resource prints two multiplication grids to a page. There are four colour versions and two black and white versions. An answer page is also included to make marking quick and easy.
