Students will sort picture cards according to the blend at the beginning of the word, placing the picture card on the correct rainbow.

The blends included on the rainbows are: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr, sc, sk, sm, sn, sp, st, sw.

You may like to attach velcro dots to the picture cards and in the spaces on the rainbow to stop them sliding about.
