Use this activity as part of the National Simultaneous Storytime event on Wednesday 22^nd May 2024, as part of a reading of the text Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker.

Reflect on the character of Bowerbird using one of three differentiated character profile templates. Explore the character’s appearance, use verbs and adjectives to describe their feelings and movement, and draw the objects they collect in their nest during the story.

This task is ideal as an independent project but can be completed in pairs.

Print the first template enlarged to A3 for support students to have more space to write and draw.
