‘Bowling Fun! Tally the Score’ is an engaging and interactive digital presentation designed to introduce students to data collection in a fun and playful manner while combining it with the excitement of a bowling game.

This digital presentation shows a game of five-pin bowling played by two players in two lanes. Students will see the ball ‘rolling’ towards and ‘knocking over’ the pins and it is their job to record how many get knocked over on the recording sheet. After five rounds have taken place, students will be able to tally up the scores and find out if the player in lane one or lane two is the winner.

The recording sheets can be printed in A4 and written directly onto or placed into write and wipe sleeves for repeated use. This presentation could also lead to students setting up and creating their own real-life five-pin bowling game to collect and record data from.
