Build a Zoo Area Game
Description
This exciting small group game is perfect for students to practise measuring the area of shapes using grid squares.
The aim of the game is to fill as much of your zoo as possible with animal enclosures. Students take turns drawing animal cards and colouring in segments of their grid map until a full round passes without anyone being able to add an enclosure.
Slip the zoo grid maps into write-and-wipe sleeves for a reusable game you can complete with whiteboard markers or print individual copies to complete with pencils.
We’ve also included detailed optional support and extension rules allowing you to cater the game to suit any student group. Add placement rules for different animal types, change the type of shape students are permitted to build, add gate and path requirements and more!
Colour and black & white printing options are included. Print as is or enlarge to A3 for an extra-large game.Additional information
