Description
A fun game where students create a fraction wall using special numerator and denominator cards. The aim is to complete the wall using knowledge of equivalent fractions and breaking fractions into smaller parts.
The fraction wall uses the following fractions, top to bottom:
- halves
- thirds
- quarters
- fifths
- sixths
- eighths
- twelfths
Set this game as a maths rotation or small group activity. Use the worksheet version if you would like students to record and keep their fraction wall progress.
Print the game pieces and boards on thick card. There are two board types, choose according to your preference. Print the worksheet on regular A4 paper for students to complete.Additional information
