Use this worksheet set to practise estimation strategies in financial contexts. Students must read each order, estimate the total cost and then calculate the actual cost to see how close they were.

Three levelled versions of the activity are provided, with extensions asking students to estimate and calculate change. Use alongside the Extension Strategies Anchor Charts so students can select the strategy best suited for each situation, marking it on the sheet as they work.
