This worksheet allows students to show their knowledge of the needs of pets and how we make changes to our environment to make it possible for pets to live there. These worksheets align with Year 1 Biological Sciences.

The image shows an empty room with a pet in the middle of it. Students need to draw in the things the pet needs to survive in that environment; that might be a water bowl, the type of food the animal eats or a place for the animal to shelter, etc.

Beneath the image is a section for the students to write what they included to ensure the pet's needs can be met. In this section, students can also explain why they added these items into the picture and how they benefit the animal.

There are five versions of this sheet included in this resource, each depicting a different pet. Choose from a cat, fish, frog, snake or bird.

The sheets can be printed in A4, or for an easier drawing experience they can be printed in A3.
