Are you working on CVC words, short vowels or word families? This interactive Catch the CVC Word digital game is the perfect resource for you!

The main objective of the game is for the students to identify the given picture and “catch” the moving insect or bug holding the correct word family to complete the word. The students must complete and catch 14 insects during each set to get a reward. There are 5 sets on each short vowels (a,e,i,o,u) with 14 different CVC pictures.

This digital game can be played on an interactive whiteboard, an iPad or projected onto a screen. You could ask for responses and complete yourself, or have students come up and interact with the game.
