Description

Distinguish between categorical and discrete data with this poster set.

Categorical data variables consist of a defined number of categories or groups, e.g. favourite colour, car types, and clothes brands.

Discrete data variables are numeric, e.g., the number of students in each class and the number of bedrooms in each house.

Display these posters as a quick reference guide for students when contemplating the types of data they wish to gather during their statistical investigations.

Print them in A4 size to be part of your maths display, or print them two to a page and attach them to a binder ring for individual students to reference. The download includes full-colour, low-colour, and black-and-white options.
