Character Appearance, Behaviour & Speech Accordion Books
Description
Your students can investigate how authors and illustrators make stories engaging by the way they develop characters with these fun accordion books.
The books either have a short piece of text or an image provided. The remaining pages need to be completed. They include character appearance, behaviour and speech. Your students will need to use their inferring skills to complete the task. The instructions on the sheet provide details about how to cut out the books and fold them up to create accordion books. These books can easily be glued into workbooks to form an interactive notebook. Your students can refer back to them for ideas when they are creating their own characters.
To use this resource, simply print both pages and ensure that your students have access to scissors that they know how to use safely. Helpful answer pages are also included in the resource.Additional information
