Our Class Pet Wanted Poster is an ideal activity to use at the start of the school year, during a unit of work about pets or as a persuasive writing prompt!

 

Students will need to consider and record the animal they believe would make the perfect class pet! To suit the needs of your class, we have included multiple options:

1. Students will draw and name their class pet.
2. Students will draw and name their class pet. They will also complete a persuasive sentence prompt explaining why there should be a pet in their classroom (includes 24mm and 18mm line widths).
3. We have also included a drawing only template and templates with space for a drawing and lines for writing. The blank lined templates could be used by students who can independently describe their class pet or write a persuasive paragraph explaining why it would be the ideal class pet (includes 24mm and 18mm line widths).

 

Younger students may benefit from having the templates enlarged to A3 for ample writing and drawing space.
