Use this set of 60 cards to practise recognising and adding coins together.
To play this partner game, each player starts with half of the shuffled deck.
Each player pulls one card from the deck and puts it on the table. They will then add the coins on their card together to work out who has the highest value card. The person who plays the highest value card takes both cards and places them on the bottom of their stack.
A “war” occurs when the two players play cards of the same value, making a tie. If this happens each player then deals three cards facedown (the spoils are for the winner) and a face-up card. The player with the highest value face-up card takes all the cards from the war into his stack.
The winner is the person who ends up with all of the cards, or the player with the most cards when time is up.
