IThis resource contains a fun hands-on activity perfect to practise matching upper and lowercase letters. Print and cut out the basket shapes – including the white section to create a posting slot -  and attach to the front of a basket or container. Print and cut out the carrots displaying uppercase and lowercase letters. These would look great displayed in a sensory tray full of sand, coloured chickpeas or rice so that only the carrot tops are showing. Students choose a carrot and then find the corresponding upper or lowercase letter. They can then add these to the basket.
