Description

Colour mixing is such a fun experiment and exploration for children, young and old.

This resource contains a fun hands-on garden-themed artwork to create with your class while exploring colour mixing.

Students choose 2 colours and have their hands painted in the chosen colours. They make a print on the template with these original colours to represent 2 flowers in the garden. Students then rub their hands together – causing their chosen colours to mix. They then use this new colour to create a final handprint.

This would make a great display in the classroom.
