Comparing Role Models Template
Description
This resource has students choose and compare different role models they have and list their attributes, skills and values.
Students may choose people close to them, sportspeople, innovators, creatives or pop-culture stars. They list the name of a role model at the top of each column and then fill in each corresponding row.
Choose to complete a version of the template on the interactive whiteboard as a whole class activity before having students complete it independently. To get the ball rolling, brainstorm some role models that students have before sending them off to work individually.
Print one page per student, or if working in small groups, print a handful of templates and place in a write-and-wipe sleeve to be reused with each group of students. Take a photo of each student’s work to document it.
This resource is included in the Health Years 5 & 6 Identities and Change Unit.
