Description

A set of worksheets designed to help students write compound sentences using a coordinating conjunction. Each page displays four interesting images to prompt students to write a sentence that contains a conjunction. The worksheets provide the opportunity for students to practise making inferences as they describe what could be happening in each image. Students can be encouraged to be as creative as possible in their responses! Use this resource to follow an explicit grammar lesson, in reading rotations, or as a revision activity for compound sentences. Includes: 2 x pages with clipart images, 2 x pages with real-life images, and 2 x pages mixed clipart and real-life images to suit a range of age groups and learners.
