In this PowerPoint, students practice writing the appropriate conjunction needed to complete the compound sentence. The conjunctions covered in this PowerPoint include the following;  for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so. To complete: LOOK – Look at the sentence and come up with the missing conjunction. WRITE – When the write page is shown students can write the answer on a whiteboard, paper, book etc CHECK – The answer then appears and students can check their work

Tip: You can remove the WRITE page if you would like to complete it as an oral activity – e.g. whole class discussion/call out answer or for partner talk.
