Description
Get your students excited about doubling numbers within 20 with this fun, sweets-themed PowerPoint game!
To start the game, click on the pack of sweets to activate the doubles fact generator. Students count and click on the correct number of sweets in each jar to solve the doubles problem. Once they have worked out the answer to the problem, they can select it from the number line at the bottom of the screen.
To make this game more engaging, give each student 20 counters, a whiteboard and a whiteboard marker. Have them draw two large circles on the whiteboard and share the counters between the circles to reflect the problem on the screen. This hands-on approach helps them visualise and solve the problems accurately!
