Description

This activity works on developing students' ability to hear and identify initial sounds in words, as well as blend together sounds to make simple CVC words. To play, students say and hear the initial sound in each picture. They then place a magnetic letter or use a whiteboard marker to record the sound heard. Once all 3 sounds have been detected they can blend them together to crack the code and work out the secret CVC word! 24 word cards in total.
