Our Creating a Class Calendar resource is an ideal task to kick off your calendar unit at the start of the school year. It consists of 12 monthly calendar templates, each equipped with a checklist to guide students in building their calendar month.

The instructions provided for each month cover essential elements such as days of the week, dates of the month, events, birthdays and more! Upon completion, you can assemble all the months to create a comprehensive class calendar for use throughout the year.

For optimal engagement, students can work collaboratively in pairs or small groups, with each group responsible for completing one month. Printing on A4 paper is sufficient, or you may choose to enlarge the templates to A3 size for a larger calendar format and easier access for all students.
