School events provide many great opportunities for recount style activities in the classroom.

Use this resource to create a fun stopwatch themed craftivity to display alongside a written recount after a sporting event at school. Featuring a range of wording options such as 'I tried my best', 'I ran a race', 'Cross Country' and 'Fun Run'. 

Another idea is to add a photo of your students into the centre of the stopwatch - always remember that special day (Makes a fantastic display!)

You might like to use sports faction colours in the craftivity, or display both a written recount and the craftivity on an A3 piece of paper matching the student's faction colour.
