Description

A special craftivity to help your students show their cultural heritage and dress. Perfect for special events like Harmony Day or any kind of multiculturalism celebration. Also wonderful to do at the beginning of the school year as a getting-to-know-you activity!

Students can draw their cultural dress onto the body outline or use coloured paper, fabric, felt and craft scraps to construct their clothing and glue on top. Female, male and gender-neutral body outlines are included.

Variation available with a coloured background. The black and white version looks great when cut around the border and mounted onto coloured cards. Alternatively, use the ‘paper dolls’ template to form a whole class artwork where each student creates their own ‘doll’ reflecting them and their cultural heritage, and they are then displayed holding hands.

Includes variation that is not specific to ‘Harmony Day’ events that can be used all year round!
