Use these task cards to help your students read CVC words. In a small group, lay the CVC picture cards in the middle of the table and hand each child a task card. Children segment and blend the CVC word written in the balloons and find the matching picture to put on their card. Once correct, each child is given another card to repeat the process with a new word. A set of blank cards is included for children to write their own CVC words and draw a matching picture.
