Description
Your students can practise recognising the place value of decimal numbers and renaming them with these fun worksheets.
The worksheets represent the numbers with a mixture of written place value and decimal notation. First, your students need to draw arrows to connect the matching values. Then, they are provided with a value that they have to rename themselves.
Three versions of the worksheet are available. The first focuses only on numbers with tenths, the second on a mixture of tenths and hundredths and the third uses numbers that all have hundredths. You could use the different versions to differentiate learning or as a progression. When you have decided which worksheets to give to which students, you can print the number of copies that you need and start the activity. Helpful answer sheets are also provided.
