A lift the flap style activity to complete after reading 'Dear Zoo' by Rod Campbell.

This fun activity asks students to either change the ending to the ‘Dear Zoo’ story and think of the perfect pet a zoo could send them, or choose another incorrect animal to be sent from the zoo. This resource requires students to draw on their background knowledge and personal preference to complete.

Students then cut and paste the lift flap to create the lift the flap component. 

You may like to combine student answers to create a class version of ‘Dear Zoo’.
