Description
A hands-on activity that combines papercraft with adding and subtracting decimals.
Students will answer questions on differentiated question cards, which ask them to colour their dungeon in specific ways.
Easily differentiate this activity by providing students with one of three instruction cards.
- Version 1 (page 3) – addition and subtraction of decimals to one and two-decimal places.
- Version 2 (page 4) – addition and subtraction of decimals to one and two-decimal places including mixed questions.
- Version 3 (page 5) – addition and subtraction of decimals to three-decimal places.
Each student needs their own decimal dungeon template and one instruction card. Instruction cards print two to a page.
This resource pairs perfectly with the Fraction Fortress activity!
