Description

Reinforce place value to three decimal places with this engaging printable game that brings strategy and fun into your maths block. Decimals Squares Game helps students build confidence in recognising and understanding decimal values as they make decisions, form connections, and claim victory one square at a time!

This game is perfect for small groups, maths warm-ups, early finishers or targeted skill practice during numeracy rotations. Students will roll a die and spin to generate a decimal, then decide where to draw their line on the board based on the matching place value. Strategy is key as players try to be the first to complete and claim squares by placing accurate decimals in the correct locations.

Each turn allows students to deepen their understanding of decimal place value and sharpen their logical thinking. This low-prep activity creates opportunities for collaboration, discussion and reinforcement of key numeracy concepts in an interactive way.
