Description

Are your students ready for a new decoding challenge? Test their skills with these decodable sentences and matching picture strips. This resource helps students practice their decoding skills by reading a sentence and then matching it to a picture. The sentences can be easily incorporated into a classroom as a rotational activity, learning support activity or as a home learning resource. This set of sentences utilises Stage 1 and 2 phonemes ( s, a, t, p, i, n, m, f, c, d, o, g, v, k, b, h, l, j, e, r, u, y, qu, z, x, w) Minimal use of sight words encouraged readers to focus on building their decoding skills and increasing fluency. Added bonus: This activity requires minimal prep work. Print on thicker card then cut and you’re ready to go! Available in State Fonts. You can also download the complete package which includes the following sentence sets: - Crab - Frog - Stamp
