Dialogue Discussion
Description
Our Dialogue Discussion activity is the perfect choice to help your students build an understanding of dialogue conventions. Its versatile design means it can be used alongside any text!
This task provides students with the opportunity to write a conversation between two characters from a familiar text, such as a fairy tale. We have included multiple versions to suit the needs of your class, including:
- Write a conversation in speech bubbles.
- Write dialogue in quotation marks on a scaffolded template.
- Write dialogue in quotation marks in a descriptive paragraph that includes other narrative conventions.
